| Notice to Membership On Tuesday, July 27, 2010, in accordance with Old Waynesborough Commission Bylaws adopted October 10, 2006, the Nominating Committee appointed by President Arnold Leder, composed of Wilbur “Andy” Anderson, Chairman, Robert “Bob” Hill, and Gordon Combs submitted the following nominations for directors and officers for the year 2011: Candidates for election to a two-term: Directors Bobby Rex Kornegay Tommy Jarrett Barbara Hatch J. D. Evans Officers President Bobby Rex Kornegay Vice President Borden Parker Secretary Yvonne Goodman Treasurer Tommy Jarrett Names of additional candidates may be submitted to the Board of Directors during the thirty-day period beginning August 27 , 2010 and ending September 27, 2010 provided that the signatures of five current friends, in good standing of the Old Waynesborough Commission accompany each nomination. All nominations from the general membership must be mailed to President Arnold Leder, P.O. Box 839, Goldsboro, NC 27533-8039 and must be postmarked no later than September 27, 2010. Nominations derived in this manner must specify the office or term for which a person is being nominated. At the conclusion of this 30-day period, all nominations received from Friends will be reviewed to determine eligibility. At the October 26, 2010 annual meeting, the names of the nominating committee’s slate of candidates, in addition to those eligible nominations received from Friends, will be presented for election. |
